Autumn has arrived to Dublin. Rainy days and strong winds mean less hikes in coming up days, but I still have my photos to come back to the times when skies were blue and heather & gorse were in full bloom😍 . . . #wicklowmountains#mountains
Nice walk there yesterday. Up to Turlough Hill, over past Lough Ferrib to Art's Cross, then down onto St. Kevin's Way and back up to Turlough Hill. Fantastic weather and great visibility. Was a small bit of bouldering potential on the way down from Art's Cross, I'll have to go back and check it out... The plant pictured is a Sundew. It's one of the only types of carnivorous plants in Ireland. It traps its pray by having its tips shine, and insects mistake it for nectar. On average, it only traps 5 insects a month. #mountaineering#mountains ...
We got lucky yesterday... not a drop of rain on the Wicklow Mountains, first time I’ve eaten lunch on a hike without being frozen solid, and no DOMS this morning. Total winner! With @smmurphie and @orlaithb... now, where to next? #hike#mountains
Have to dedicate an entire post to this little beauty. The reddest of VW Polos that carried us over 700 miles throughout Ireland. Shifting a manual with my left hand while driving on the wrong side of roads originally built for carriages was a harrowing experience to say the least, but loved doing it in a #vw#vwpolo

We challenged 45 business leaders to take on the 2019 #pinergychallenge cycle in aid of @daisyhouse300 recently. The cycle challenge this year was a tough loop through the Wicklow mountains. If you would like to donate👉 https://www.idonate.ie/event/2248_.html #givingback
