One of my favorite things to do while traveling is visit a local market to see how locals shop and eat. I always suggest people do this for one meal - shop the market in the morning and go for a picnic at the nearby park. Fun way to experience the city your in and feel like a local.⠀ ⠀ #travel#travelphotography
That's the best part for me: knowing the local food. At the Great Market Hall, on the first floor is all about the fruits and meat, as in the second you can eat some local dishes as well buy some gifts from Budapest. We gotta know that the 'Strudel' is original from Hungary, but it was disseminated in other countries as Austria and Germany. I've tryed the cherry one over there, but there is a lot of others flavours for you to choose (apricot, cheese, chocolate, etc). Be careful by the time you get into the market, because it closes ...
The Great Market Hall in Budapest (in Hungarian Nagycsarnok or Vasarcsarnok) was built in 1897, and is the most beautiful and largest of all Budapest market halls. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #greatmarkethall#greatmarkethallbudapest
Same colour, different country! This time Budapest, Hungry! The Central Market Hall in Budapest is on my must do list next time I go back... upstairs there is hot food and beautiful things to buy... downstairs is a traditional food market with paprika everywhere! Just make sure you bring some paprika back, you can't get that quality here! . . . . #budapest#travel
