Reason #48394 that I love working with seniors: I love when I get to personalize sessions to capture each seniors’ unique style, personality and talents. I knew Kayla was an AMAZING dancer, so I was so excited to snag some sunset dance photos at the end of her shoot. I’m more than a little obsessed with how they turned out. ▫️ #dancer

Woke up after a whole three hours of sleep for this engagement shoot with these two super fun people today. This was actually at the end of the session and the four of us were walking down the path towards the car. He was ahead of me and her with Kyle and decided to surprise her by picking her a flower. Such a simple little gesture but he knew he would get a great reaction from her and he absolutely did. 🌸
I love visualizing habits like they’re a gorgeous hiking path. (You know, where the lush green grass is far enough away from you that ticks can’t grab you with their tiny, terrifying arms.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Completing the habit is like tromping down the grass. The more you do this, the more the path appears. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And with enough repetition, the path becomes easier to navigate. 🌲 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You’ll spend less mental energy creating the path once you’ve repeated the habit enough times.
