Thailand is a place very close to our hearts. In under 6 hours we are sitting in paradise. There is the Hollywood version if the country, popularised by the Hangover franchise and then there is a huge family friendly part aswell. . Back in 2012 we visited the Dusit Zoo, the Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World, the Chatuchak Market and the floating markets of Bangkok. There are so many good eateries and ginormous malls to spend your time in. Families can do so much in the city without having to cross path with any unsavory experiences. . Our main advise would be to explore the country on your own and not by some touring agency, if possible. The overdone tourists spots are often gimmicky. . One thing we would like to stress upon are the Thai people. They are so hospitable and happy to have you in their country. We have yet to meet friendlier, more humble and genuine people on our travels. The Thai people are a big part of why we keep going back!!! .
