Dunseverick Castle in County Antrim It was recorded that St Patrick visited in the 5th Centruy AD, attacked by Vikings in 870 AD, and destroyed by General Munro in 1642 with his Cormwellian troops. #ireland🍀 #ireland_gram
Today was spent travelling west along the Causeway Coastal Route. First a little walk around a wet and windy Divis, then onto the coastal route visiting White Park Bay, Dunseverick Castle, Giants Causeway, Downhill Demesne, Hezlett House and Musenden Temple before finally arriving in Derry/Londonderry. Tiring but utterly amazing day!! #visiting#northernireland

Going with the flow. Unmarked on our map was this waterfall first spotted from a seaside lookout. As we moved closer, its wonder further revealed itself and reminded us the beauty you can discover while wondering. #northernireland | #bushmills | | | _ •Camera: Nikon D850 | •Lens: Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200 f/2.8E FL ED VR Lens _ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ...
