Today was a sad day. Just finished my last day of my first library position! I’ve learned so much and I’m so grateful to have worked with such a wonderful bunch of women. Now on to the next adventure! #bittersweet#librarylove
Happy birthday today to writer @stephenking . King is an incredibly prolific author, in fact in the time it takes to watch this video, he will have written six more novels and a collection of short stories. #onthisdate#happybirthday I just listened to the audiobook of Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption and it was AMAZING.

Okay confession time: do you ever check a book out just for a bookstagram if you’ve already read an ebook or audiobook version of it?! THE BRIDE TEST and FIX HER UP were among my favorite romances this year and when I saw them in the library today, I snagged them up! (... even though I’ve read them 🙈) I haven’t been listening to audiobooks as much as I did when I had a longer commute, but I would always get the physical books for picture ops, which was easy to do since I worked at a library! I hear ...

I spent Friday night at the library book sale. 📚 🤓 . Spent way more than I intended and accidentally bought “Danny and the Dinosaur” twice. But now all three kids have presents for all eight nights of Chanukah and then some... Also, “Oh Were They Ever Happy” is signed by the author.

Finishing #normalpeople by #sallyrooney today with one of my favorite things: fresh figs (& a homemade fig and goat cheese tart, naturally). Fig season is so short (I supposed it’s a miracle they can grow in Pennsylvania at all) that it’s important to savor while they last. • • • •
Welp. Just sitting her crying my eyes out. This book took me several chapters to really get into it. And then I couldn’t stop. It was beautiful and heartbreaking, and yet even hopeful. Set during WWII, you follow the lives of two sisters in France. The impossible decisions families had to make to protect those they loved is unbelievable. I just want to scoop up my babies and love them as much I can, and cherish this life that we’re so privileged to have. If you haven’t read this, I can’t recommend it enough. ❤️ #thenightingale#historicalfiction
