The danger of an adventure, is worth a thousand days of ease and comfort. Whoever knows where this waterfall is and has actually made it there, knows the true meaning of this quote!!! This was DEFINITELY one of my favorite adventures to date 😜. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #beautifulplaces#awesomeearth
these are a few of my favorite things - yoga mats and voile straps, great light and misty rain, commuting home on ribbons like this to a boy i will snuggle and a pizza date with my love. . . . for the simplest yoga mat carrier, thank you @hobopieces (and also for the best package artwork ever). . . . namaste (i’m still saying it) to @rebeccabellyoga for the soulful flow. . . . to @crowsfeetbend for this bike i love to bits. . . . #thesupplelife#adventurecycling
Stormy skies, wind and rain. That’s how this particular morning started. Some people may have looked out the window and decided the beach wasn’t on their to-do list anymore. But, I went anyways. I’ve found that most beautiful moments require a little risk, a little initiative regardless of circumstance. Conditions can change in the blink of an eye, from simply the weather, to life as a whole. Be intentional, put your foot out the door.. you’ll be rewarded for it
Happy first anniversary, Sonja! There’s no one else I’d rather romp around in the wilderness all over the world than you! 1) Wedding Day 📷:@audreraephotography 2) Mt. Adams summit, WA 3) Aoraki/Mt Cook, NZ 4) Lake Clark, AL 5) Sawtooth Wilderness, ID 6) Dolomites, Italy 7) Inyo National Forest, CA 8) Kenai Fjords, AK 9) Mt Hood National Forest, OR 10) Mt Rainier, WA
It’s official: My birthday PNW trip has come to an end. So many great memories made in such a short time. For the last couple months my life has been aggressively paced just to make this trip happen. From slaving away in near triple digit temps to get the van ready to make the journey north, to surviving my second ever anxiety attack (work related stress - IKR!), my eyes held laser beam focus on this trip and all that it would hold for me. Well it certainly didn’t disappoint! I am more certain than ever of the moves I ...
I'm going to have to give this buffet a bad rating on Trip Advisor. The grass was very dry and tough and it was kind of a funny colour. The view was nice enough but it was right next to a busy thoroughfare of two-wheelers and humans with their black clicky boxes
With 3 days of snow in the forecast this week, I’ll officially kiss summer goodbye ☀️❄️ Don’t kill me for saying it, but I’m so ready and cannot wait for the winter season 🙂☃️ #mybanff#bettertakesaction 📸:@pat.hoffman
last night’s run. just two miles, but a really good two miles. one of those runs that just clicked. the temperature was a little cooler, the sky was lavender and peach, spotify played all the right songs, and my legs felt GOOD. let’s keep that feeling, please.
Roxy before and after she spots a duck in the river, the difference in her expression cracks me up! Note the death grip I have on her harness in the last photo to stop her from diving into the river after them! 😂🐶🦆We decided to enjoy the last day of summer at the river instead of driving somewhere to go on an adventure and it was a blast! I hope you all got the chance to get outside today, whether it was on the trails or simply in your own backyard. Summer 2019 was one for the books, here’s to ...
What’s better than a single day 24-mile traverse of the Grand Canyon? Turning around and doing it all over again! rim2rim2rim 2019 babyyyy. (Spoiler: I’m smiling through the pain in this photo at the northern trailhead. After this it took 7 minutes to stand up.)
Five hours after finishing, @cymon.kersch summed it up best; “My cheeks legitimately hurt from smiling so much!” 😁 This was the most race either of us have done. The most beautiful trails we’ve run on and the best open water swimming. I also could’ve have picked a better teammate than Cymon, who is always positive and full of motivation.Thank you @odysseyswimrunusa for putting on such an amazing event. This was our first, but not our last. The vibe these events have is unlike any we’ve been to. We went into this with the goal of having fun and ended up ...
